In the waterproofing business, we will strengthen R&D and product manufacturing to adapt to the environment and customer needs, while further improving the functionality of modified asphalt waterproofing products that have long been favored by our customers. In the high-performance asphalt manufacturing business, we will further strengthen our competitiveness by improving production efficiency, including capital investment, as well as ensuring safe operations and stable supply.

While there are many issues that need to be addressed in order to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, the waterproofing and paving businesses that support people's lives are also indispensable to society. It is not easy to balance environmental measures toward the realization of a decarbonized society and social contribution through our business, but we believe it is essential to think and act together with our customers, contractors, logistics partners, and everyone else involved in order to make steady progress.
